Hartney

The Fire Department currently has 17 dedicated volunteer firefighters.
The Fire Chief is Richard Lamouline, and the Deputy Fire Chief is Greg Morrison.

Minto

The Minto Fire Department consists of dedicated volunteer Firefighters. The fire department is part of a mutual aid district, thus when help is needed it is there.
All members have there First Aid and CPR training. The department has monthly meetings for training etc.
The Municipality purchased new fire trucks in 2010 for the department.

Elgin

The Elgin Fire Department consists of 13 dedicated volunteer firemen, 5 of which are Level 1 firefighters. All of the firemen have First Aid and CPR training.
The Municipality purchased new fire trucks in 2010 for the department.

Police Department – Blue Hills, Boissevain and Deloraine RCMP Detachments

RCMP would like to remind the public that after hours and on weekends to use the police emergency line for your local office or 911. The administration line may not be checked until the following day or, possibly, the Monday following a weekend. Members may be in another community or on the road. DO NOT LEAVE A MESSAGE.
